Day 01 : Srinagar
In the morning arrive at Srinagar airport or railway station. Srinagar has been described by some visitors as the Venice of the East. A unque charm of Srinagar is its 1300 or more houseboats, the floating little hotels on the edge og the Dal lake. Upon arrival you wil be met by our representative and transferred to the House Boat on the Dale Lake. Rest of the day free for leisure to explore the beautiful surroundings in Srinagar.

Day 02 : Srinagar
Today you will visit the famous Mughal garden in Srinagar. Chashma Shahi, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh are the three famous Mughal gardens in Kashmir. Chashma Shahi means the Royal Spring and is dedicated to the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. After visiting the Chashma Shahi you will visit the Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh.

CHASHMA SHAHI :
Chashma Shahi has tastefully laid garden in terraces, which commands a magnificent view of the Dal Lake below and surrounding mountain ranges. The cool water of the spring is highly refreshing and digestive. The original garden was laid out by Shah Jehan in 1632 AD.
By the side of Chashma Shahi Garden are huts where some of the state government officials have their official residences to enjoy the luxurious stay while serving the Jammu & Kashmir State Government.

NISHAT BAGH
NISHAT BAGH :
Situated on the banks of the Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountains as its backdrop, (11 km. from Tourists Reception Centre), this 'garden of bliss' commands a magnificent view of the lake and the snow capped Pir Panjal mountain range which stands far away to the west of the valley. Nishat was designed in 1633 AD by Asaf Khan, brother of Nur Jehan.

SHALIMAR BAGH
SHALIMAR BAGH :
Built by Emperor Jehangir for his wife Nur Jehan, Shalimar, 15 kms from the Tourists Reception Centre, is a beautiful garden with sweeping vistas over gardens and lakes, and shallow terraces. The garden is 539 m by 182 m and has four terraces, rising one above the other. A canal lined with polished stones and supplied with water from Harwan runs through the middle of the garden. The fourth terrace, by far the best, was once reserved for royal ladies.

Day 03 : Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar (about 170 km )
In the morning you will drive to Sonamarg. Sonamarg is situated on the Srinagar-Leh Highway, about 85 km 
from Srinagar. Sonamarg, a small but uniquely beatiful hill resort, is located on the ladakh road. Sonamarg means the golden meadow. It derives its names from the golden colour of its massed spring flowers. Enjoy the local environment and surrounding. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar.

Day 04 : Srinagar - Pahalgam ( about 97 km )
In the morning after breakfast drive to Pahalgam. On the way you will pass through pine forest and also visit the saffron fields, Pahalgam is the popular hill resort of the Kashmir valley. Its is from Pahalgam often take a Amarnath Yatra. Arrive in Pahalgam by afternoon.

Information about Pahalgam
Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from the Lidder river and Sheshnag lake. Pahalgam was once a humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views. Now, Pahalgam is the famous hill resort in Kashmir valley and cool even during the summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25 degree Celsius. This hill resort is set between fairly steep hills. Its natural splendor is described by snow clad mountain peeks on all sides, a white water river that traverses the bottoms of the narrow
valley, and the wonderful weather. While Gulmarg was the favourite summer resort of the British during the Raj, rich Indians patronized Pahalgam. Climatic conditions favour tent life and visitors prefer to spend their holidays under the rivers. The flora and fauna is good and the scenery is also captivating. Pahalgam is also the base point for undertaking the annual Amarnath Yatra. Foreign visitors like Pahalgam because they can relax in a surrounding that compares favourably with the Swiss Alps or they can undertake adventure treks into the high altitude meadows. The best time to visit Pahalgam is during the summers, between mid of April to mid of November.

Day 05 : Pahalgam
Today in Pahalgam you can have a walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. This walk to a small village, set in pine and fir forest will be pleasing. This place offers some food views of the surroundings.

In the morning after having breakfast drive to Srinagar. Transfer to airport or railway station for the onwards journey.
